The ONE is Coming: Studying the Call to Healing
Today we are studying the call to healing and we are examining ourselves as ministers of the gospel contending for the faith in Christ Jesus.
I realize that the modern church has influence on the ultimate effectiveness of the Kingdom. We are living in the last days before the Kingdom is established on earth. The influences remind me of the churches in revelation who were lukewarm and useless, faithless, idolatrous. We want the notoriety from the pulpit, the plane rides, the pity and praise of men so we are called to nations. What about our nations?
We are dealing with spiritual warfare. That’s why the gospel and our lives in the hope of this GOOD NEWS may offend our neighbor. If that wasn’t so Jesus would never be crucified by His very own kind.
James 3:17 “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere.”
The words we choose are automatically impure. The words God says directly are given to make our hearts look like His. We need identical hearts with God to enter heaven (Matthew 5:48). There is NO MORE TIME for you to be a work in progress walking around saying "nobody's perfect". Speak for yourself; I'm fighting the good fight of faith. God is still working on me, but I have made it my determination that my heart will look like God's through it all.
Luke 15:8-10 “suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Won’t she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she will call in her friends and neighbors and say, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”
If a thousand people give you a hard time, you have to stay motivated. Don't give up until you reach the ONE.
I have come to speak on behalf of the one, the ones who are ready to turn from their old ways, ready to surrender the things that are KILLING them and exchange them for love that can fill the whole earth.
2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
We are not called to turn from sin for a sure spot in heaven, uninterrupted peace, and abundance. Anyone in their right mind would do anything for that. The problem is our minds aren’t right. We need to heal and when we heal, everything around us wil get better! Neighbors first, then nations.
Never settle for a dull moment with God. Don't let your joy come and go. Be healed.
And Romans 5:3 teaches us to glory all the more in our tribulations, rejoice in our sufferings . Glory! Rejoice in the worst happening to or being said about you because you know that you know that you know God is bringing out the best in you. God has brought out the best in you.
We have to heal completely so our message can be complete and fulfill prophecy of the coming of our Lord. He is coming for a healer people.
Humans used to live for hundreds of years.
Now we can’t even live for two.
Time is going by faster today
And still we can sense and see the approaching of a new beginning soon.
We always say it takes time to heal… "give yourself time" "give them time" we say… but we never had plenty of time in the first place
We don’t need it
We need understanding and time helps us heal primarily in the heat of conflicts! We must be determined to honor God through people. Whenever we feel like we missed the mark, we shouldn't brush it off. We should truly reflect and let God do the talking.
Did you MANAGE to stay a Christian the whole time? Did your words or actions open the door of the heart for God’s love?. Did you practice self control. If you can do that, you can do anything God wants you to do because you are ready to be His vessel. This checklist details the nature of God's will from a James 3:17 perspective

DISCLAIMER: This form of self examination is by no means meant to cancel the process of true preparation (pruning, which we are all undergoing). This way of examining ourselves is simply helpful along the way for your own continued encouragement and ultimate effectiveness. We all need it!
Ephesians 4:29 Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you.
Whenever your words harm someone or yourself, you told on yourself. You need to heal. No one can condemn you for that, but you seriously need to do the work. You need to stop looking at the outside, look inside, step outside, and step aside.
